Qatar World Cup Dates

The action kicks off on the pitch on Monday, November 21. While host nation Qatar will kick off that day, they aren’t the first match of the tournament. That distinction goes to Senegal and Netherlands in Group A, who will play at 5 a.m. Eastern time.
Also in action on the first day are England vs Iran in Group B at 8 a.m. Host nation Qatar will kick off against Group A foe Ecuador at 11 a.m. Eastern time.
Canada will kick off its first match in Group F against Belgium on Wednesday, November 23 at 2 p.m. Canada’s other Group F matches are scheduled for Sunday, November 27 at 11 a.m. Eastern time against Croatia, and Thursday, December 1 at 10 a.m. Eastern time against Morocco.

World Cup 2022 Tickets

World Cup 2022 tickets went on sale earlier in the year. A second round of ticket sales opened on Tuesday, July 5. That sales period closed on August 16.

Fans were able to purchase tickets for individual matches at different price categories. Individual fans were limited to six tickets for each match, with a maximum of 60 tickets for the entire tournament.
